Main Article Content
Abstract
Learning in elementary schools requires a learning model that can accommodate students’ various potentials and intelligences so that the learning process becomes effective and meaningful. However, the learning achievement of third-grade students at SDN 2 Boyemare was still not optimal because the learning process tended to be teacher-centered and paid less attention to students’ different abilities and characteristics. This study aimed to determine the implementation of an intelligence-based learning model and its implications for improving the learning achievement of third-grade students at SDN 2 Boyemare. The research questions are:1) How is the implementation of the intelligence-based learning model forthird-grade students at SDN 2 Boyemare in the 2025/2026 academic year? 2) What are the implications of the intelligence-based learning model in improving the learning achievement of third-grade students at SDN 2 Boyemare? This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of the principal, the third-grade teacher, and 30 third-grade students of SDN 2 Boyemare. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the intelligence-based learning model was implemented effectively through learning activities adapted to students’ characteristics. The implementation of this model had positive implications for improving students’ learning motivation, participation, understanding of learning materials, and learning achievement in the third grade at SDN 2 Boyemare
